Stretching the Legs: Coffeeneuring x Two

This past weekend the weather cooperated and I was able to get in two Coffeeneuring trips for Chasing Mailboxes 2014 Coffeeneuring Challenge. Sunday and Monday (my weekend).

Coffeeneuring Coffee # 4. Sunday was a trip to Trish and Michael’s. Trish and Michael come into the shop to buy coffee beans and espresso. When they found out about the Coffeeneuring Challenge they offered their cottage/farm/house/home as a possible Coffeeneuring destination. I took them up on their offer and was treated to great coffee, a place to warm up, and a tour of the wild flower gardens and plantings they are installing.

Coffeeneuring Coffee #5. With the weather looking promising I cancelled some of my other errands and decided to get in another Coffeeneuring Coffee. This time to Café 349 in Shawville. They are not open on Sundays. Monday it needs to be.

The Café serves good coffee, deserts and the has a good lunch menu. Ruth Hahn, the proprietor, has done a good deal of work in sourcing local produce for her menu. Local arts and crafts are on view, and music nights are also part of the venue. Its a great place to go for coffee or more.
