Stretching the Legs: Various!

This post pulls together some of the rides from the past few days. commuting, exploring and just plain riding. Bike trails (the PPJ) and lots of gravel.

Some of the exploring entailed re-visiting places I hadn’t seen since I removed the studded tires. It was interesting to see these spots without the snow and ice. Admittedly I spent more time appreciating them in the winter. I can stand around in the cold longer than I can in swarms of mosquitos and Black Flies! ( I envy riders who don’t need to deal with this.)

And then this made me at once sad, one less Black Billed Cuckoo (to help clean up on the tent caterpillars), and glad because I was riding a bike!

And then there was gravel…. with nice views…
