The Morning Dog Walk: Down by the Creek Again – August 2nd, 2012

This set of photos had been intended for a week and a bit prior to this. It is interesting, and shouldn’t be surprising how fast the season has progressed since these were taken.

The Swamp Milkweed in these images is finished, the Joe Pie Weed and Boneset are much more advanced, the Blackberries are replacing the Raspberries and some Turtlehead has come into bloom. Of course it is still a wonderful place to cool off.

That being said, here are the pics*:

* I must admit that not all the images were taken in the morning. I cheated! Some where actually taken on the evening dog walk.
