By the time I was able to get out for our morning snowshoe jaunt the temperatures had warmed up to -21c from the overnight low of -34c. With the brilliant sunshine and clear skies it turned out to be a beautiful day.
One of the things I like about this time year is being able to see the spoor for so many of the neighbours we never see. The one pic that I do have here of this sort is of an Ermine. There seems to be a good number around this year.
