Signs of Summer…..Viper’s Bugloss & Sheep’s Laurel

We don’t have Vipers around here and the Sheep aren’t numerous either, but

  • The Viper’s Bugloss has been blooming for a bit and
  • I noticed the Sheep’s laurel blooming in a Tamarack Bog on my commute in to work
  • I should also mention the Wild Carrot, and
  • The Wild Parsnip are blooming, and I have seen a
  • Few Black Eyed Susans in bloom
  • Although the Oxeye Daisies have been blooming for awhile they really look nice with the Viper’s Bugloss
  • I was informed by my in-house expert that we had a Red-Eyed Vireo around the yard over the weekend
  • The Tree Swallows have fledged and don’t seem to be around much
  • We can hear the baby Blue Birds calling for food
