This time of year I really enjoy the blossoming trees and bushes. The birds really like them for their fruit, and some of that fruit makes a good jelly. At present it is really nice to see:
- The Wild Plums have a real strong presence
- The Service Berries have a whispyness to them. The red tinged leaves are nice too.
- The Hobble Bush growing in the shade in the forest seems so bright
- The low bush Blueberries
- The Pin Cherries have just started.
Still to come are the:
- High Bush Cranberries
- Pagoda Dogwood
- Red Osier Dogwood
- Wild Raisin
I have missed something I am sure.
