Signs of Spring…..Bellwort & Blueberries

This morning on my way in a Northern Harrier graced me a with show as it dove for some prey in some scrub right beside the road. Amazing!

  • I love the way the colour of the new growth on the Poplars, Willows and Tamaracks contrasts with the deeper greens of the evergreens
  • In the garden the Crocus’ and the early Species Tulips are basically finished, but
  • There are more Tulips coming
  • Daffodils too!
  • Even some garden variety Violets
  • The Wild Violets are starting as well
  • The Wild Blue Berries are also blooming
  • As are the Wild Strawberries (just starting!)
  • So are the Bellwort
